Conference venuePisa is a city in Tuscany, central Italy, on the right bank of the mouth of the Arno River on the Ligurian Sea.
It is the capital city of the Province of Pisa.
Although Pisa is known worldwide for its Leaning Tower (the bell tower of the city's cathedral),
the city of over 87,500 residents contains more than 20 other historic churches, several palaces,
and various bridges across the Arno River. The Institute of Information Science and Technologies (ISTI) is an institute of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) located in the CNR Research Area of Pisa. The research activity of the Human Interface in Information Systems (HIIS) Laboratory is in methods and tools to support
user interface designers and software developers in obtaining usable systems
that can be accessed from different contexts of use (devices, users,
